By Shruti Vispute, Industry Analyst What Is The Use of  Aluminum electrolytic capacitors ? The electrolytic capacitor is used where high levels of capacitance are required, but to provide long reliable service it must be used correctly and within its specifications. !!  Download FREE PDF Sample | Click Here  !! Aluminum  capacitors  are polarized  electrolytic capacitors  whose  anode   electrode  (+) is made of a pure  aluminum  foil with an  etched  surface. The aluminum forms a very thin insulating layer of  aluminum  oxide  by  anodization  that acts as the  dielectric  of the capacitor. A non-solid  electrolyte  covers the rough surface of the oxide layer, serving in principle as the second electrode ( cathode ) (-) of the capacitor. A second aluminum foil called “cathode foil” contacts the electrolyte and serves as the electrical connection to the negative terminal of the capacitor.   What is an AC/DC Converter?   Download  FREE  PDF Sample | Click Here !! The AC-DC power supply is a device that is used to convert AC power input into DC output. The growing demand for power supply in medical and healthcare devices and the rising demand for energy-efficient devices drive the AC-DC converters market growth. Further, technological advancements in the power supply devices and development are also triggering the demand for the AC-DC converters market. Electric power is transported on wires either as a direct current (DC) flowing in one direction at a non-oscillating  constant  voltage, or as an alternating current (AC) flowing backwards and forwards due to an oscillating voltage. AC is the dominant method of transporting power because it offers several advantages over DC, including lower distribution costs and simple way of converting between voltage levels thanks to the invention of the transformer.  Top 10 Companies are :  Delta Electronics, Inc., Diodes Incorporated,
